During the annual "British at Midem" Showcase, the BPI and the British Music Rights invited Lynden David Hall to perform in front of a French audience. The event was held at the Martinez hotel. Lynden accompanied by his acoustic guitar performed 5 songs including his hit "Sexy Cinderella" which some of the audience sang along with. He also presented two songs of his new album, one of them "If I had to choose" describes a deep father and son relationship. At the end of his performance Lynden seemed to have captivated his audience who in fact were not quite ready to let him go (and it wasn’t only the women, I promise!)

The Best Newcomer at the 1998 MOBO Awards and the best Male Artist in 2000 has recently parted from his record company EMI in England but it seems that he is getting ready for the most challenging part of his career- the American Market. As a result of this Midem appearance there is no doubt that he’s looking forward to making new international industry friends and partners.
