Phatmag How did you start up?

FK I started out as a rapper doing proper rap, but I was told I sound too English. Then I started doing reggae and I was told I sounded too English, so thought "you know what?" Let me just do my thing a style which I call Ragga Hip Hop.

Phatmag Were you in any groups?

FK Not really. I've been a solo artist. I used to chat in sound systems and then I got into body guarding - looking after a lot of artists like Busta Rhymes, 112 and Beenie Man, and basically moving around seeing people doing what there doing, and I said "yeah! I want some of this man."

Phatmag Is that how you hooked up with Wu-Tang?

FK With Wu-Tang, I done an interview on Choice FM. Basically, they were here for the MOBO Awards. T hey heard the interview and phoned Choice FM and asked for my number. They called me, left a number. I called back and we had a few meetings and Bob's your uncle.
