phatmag: Did you have a say with who you wanted to work
with? For example, producers, writers?
Cassandra: Yeah! We pick, who we
wanna work with, we believe in that. Because if we feel them, then there's
a vibe and you go in and get great things done, you know.
Charisse: So we kinda pick our
dream team and then whatever comes after that and sounds good then it's
all good.
phatmag: So did this album turn
out the way you intended?
Charisse: You work on an album,
it takes time whether it's eight months to a year and, I think artist
who feel that way are listening to what's out at the time, once they
are done and released. You can't go off of that, you have to go off
of what you're doing at that time and at that moment.

phatmag: In your own
words what would you say your album "Visit Me" is all about?
Cassandra: This time around we
feel we're three albums deep, six years in the industry professionally
and that people know us but, they know our music first, and what "Visit
Me" was about is just coming in to visit us, Cassandra and Cherrise
individually, getting to know us and to know that we're are a part of
our music.
Like it was interesting that you said, you feel that we went through
what you heard, you know, so that's what makes a good artist. I believe
what R Kelly sings, and I believe what Mary J Blige sings, because you
can feel that they've been through the things that they're singing about.
So we just wanted to be a little more personal this time around and let
people get to know us. To let them know that our door is open, so that
they can visit us at any time.
phatmag:When are you next in
London?
Cassandra: Early 2001, after we
come off tour, we are getting ready to start touring here in the states,
from November 9th and throughout December.
phatmag: Are you touring on your own?
Cassandra: Kelly Price, Donnell
Jones, Next and Changing Faces.
phatmag:
It was good
talking to you, you guys are fun. We should hook up when you come over
next year.
Cassandra/Charisse:
Yeah we are nothing but trouble but mostly fun. You'll find out when you
hang out with us.
