LINA

Phatmag: The reason that you broke up with your boyfriend, was it because you were going on the tour or was it something else?

Lina: It was that, well I did a tour in the states so it started right there.

Phatmag: Is he in the music business?

Lina: He's not in the music business he's in the film industry.

Phatmag: Was it because he couldn't handle your sudden success?

Lina: You know what he did he just started talking bad, he just started saying crazy stuff to me he started calling me woody you know like Ginuwine woody, he just changed he was talking to me like a homie, but you know I knew it was him hiding his feelings instead of dealing with me. I tried to figure it out, I would try to understand him even though, when his acting career kinda took off he was not as insensitive to me and I kinda like supported him and I remembered how I felt, so I would try to come to him and say things that would make him feel secure but he still just couldn't accept it and so at the beginning of that tour, I mean I noticed that when I recorded demos he would never play my music he'd never have a CD of mine he never listened to my songs and if I ever said could you listen to my song he would have like Juvenile or Master P banging but when I put my song in, it was turned down real low. So I started to see little signs like that and I hated it because he was so faithful, he was no player so I just decided because it wasn't a positive thing for me I needed to just go on and do what I was doing. So I would start my show of with, I just kicked my boyfriend to the curb and all the girls would go "aahh yeah" and that was it, that was all I had to say.

Phatmag: Every girl is a man hater from America why is that?

Lina: They have man haters over here too they loved it when I said I kicked him to the curb that was here.
